Advancement Manager

The Jencks Foundation at The Cosmic House is seeking an Advancement Manager to join our dynamic team. In 2025, we are launching a new development strategy to focus on engaging patrons and building strong relationships with trusts and foundations to create sustainable income for our future. This is a key role within the foundation, ensuring The Cosmic House’s continued impact while securing the resources needed to thrive.

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-level prospects, inspiring new donors, and demonstrating how their support will help advance our work. Working closely with the Director, Keeper of Meaning, and the Board of Trustees, you will lead the implementation of an inventive donor engagement programme that aligns with our core values and stands out in the not-for-profit sector.

This role requires regular face-to-face meetings with potential donors and partners, both in London and potentially beyond, with evening and weekend event attendance being a regular part of the job. If you're proactive, have a can-do attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
